This program provides an understanding of the World Transmission operation, construction, service requirements, installation guidelines and troubleshooting procedures. Classroom topics include torque converter operation, power flows, clutches, retarder operation, vehicle interface, electronic and hydraulic control systems and preventive maintenance. Hands on exercise covers disassembly and reassembly of the transmission to the modular level. Use of the Pro-Link 9000 diagnostic tool DOC and basic troubleshooting. This is NOT an overhaul class and does not include reprogramming. Class includes 4th Generation Controls. |

The Allison Diagnostic Optimized connection tool is a diagnostic system designed for Allison 3000/4000/B/EVS/MH/TRV and 1000/2000 Series Transmission. This PC-Based diagnostic program is capable of reading from either WTEC 11 or WTEC 111 using J1708 or 1000/2000 Series using J1939 protocols. (Formerly known as ATDT, they will allow the student to receive the reprogramming certificate for either DOC or Pro-Link 9000).
