This class will cover the basic overhaul procedures for a Series 60 2004 EGR engine. Students will disassemble an engine and will inspect components.
Emphasis will be placed upon the up-date and changes pertaining to the EGR System. Topics will include: new head, cam shaft/ gear timing. Compact gear design-EGR components. After assembly students will adjust valves and new N3 injectors. |

This 2-day class will introduce the student to the Series 60 EGR System. Students will have the opportunity to remove the front gear case cover and camshaft component. Timing of the engine and all the gears upon assembly. Troubleshooting the fuel, cooling, lubrication, and air systems will be included. DDEC V will be highlighted including new sensors and EGR System. |
