The Hayward operation started in San Leandro back in 1992 when it was owned by Sierra Detroit Diesel Allison, a division of Penske Corporation. In April 1997, Sierra DDA was sold to Stewart and Stevenson and along with the West Sacramento location, became part of the S&S Power Products Western Division. In August of 2005, Valley Power Systems purchased the Sierra/S&S operation and both locations became known as Valley Power Systems North, Inc.

In March 2009, Valley’s San Leandro operation moved to a 20,000 sq. ft. building in Hayward, and today we are dedicated to both on- and off-highway mobile field service. All marine, construction, industrial, agricultural, oil and gas parts and service operations for the Bay Area and Northern California are dispatched from this facility. We have a fully trained and dedicated mobile field service staff to service all of our customer needs. Wherever we are needed, we are there.

Our primary product lines are MTU, MTU Onsite Energy and Waukesha. We also offer DEUTZ, Isuzu and Volvo Penta Industrial power solutions. We have a full-service parts department with factory-trained parts specialists who provide customer support for the entire northern region of California. Our entire staff is committed to providing our customers the highest level of service possible, including 24/7 emergency parts and service support.
